چکیده
The measurement of two-particle Bose-Einstein momentum correlation functions are presented using $\sqrt{s_{_{\text{NN}}}}=5.02$ TeV PbPb collision data, recorded by the CMS experiment in 2018. measured discussed terms L\'evy type source distributions. parameters extracted as transverse mass and centrality. These include strength $\lambda$, stability index $\alpha$, scale parameter $R$. shape, characterized is found to be neither Gaussian nor Cauchy. A hydrodynamic-like scaling $R$ also observed.

Splitting function in pp and PbPb collisions at 5.02 TeV
A measurement of the splitting function in pp and PbPb collisions at a center of mass energy of 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair is presented. The virtuality evolution of partons traversing the hot QCD medium created in a heavy ion collision is potentially modified due to interactions with the color charges of the medium. This measurement probes this phenomenon by measuring the generalized fragmentati...

متن کاملMeasurement of high-p[subscript T] azimuthal anisotropy in charged hadron production from 2.76 Tev PbPb collisions at CMS
Measurements of the azimuthal anisotropy of charged hadrons are presented for PbPb collisions at √ sNN = 2.76 TeV over an extended transverse momentum range. The data were collected with the CMS detector at the LHC. The anisotropy parameter (v2) is extracted up to a significantly higher pT region than previously achieved, by correlating charged tracks with respect to the event plane reconstruct...
متن کاملW boson studies in pPb and PbPb collisions with CMS
The electroweak W bosons do not participate in the strong interaction, and thus constitute clean probes of the initial state of nuclear collisions. They provide a unique constraint on the nuclear parton distributions, in particular on the antiquarks from the sea. A first analysis of PbPb data has confirmed the medium-blind characteristic of the electroweak bosons. With the new pPb data, collect...
متن کاملCharmonium production measured in PbPb and pp collisions by CMS
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) is fully equipped to measure hard probes in the di-muon decay channel in the high multiplicity environment of nucleus-nucleus collisions. Such probes are especially relevant for studying the quark-gluon plasma since they are produced at early times and propagate through the medium, mapping its evolution. CMS is able to distinguish non-prompt from prompt J/ψ in pp...
